Welcome to the first official spin class being offered to the Castlegar area. What is spinning? It is an ever growing fitness craze that is sweeping the fitness industry. Spinning is a cardiovascular workout done on specialized stationary bikes.

What differentiates a spin class from other fitness type classes? Firstly, it doesn't matter if you are a 19 year old female, 55 year old grandpa, or Lance Armstrong, you work at your own pace. It doesn't matter if you have not ridden a bike in years. Spin bikImagees are stable, safe and provide you with a low impact exercise workout. You will be fitted on the spin bike depending on your body composition.

Mountain bikers, come on out and improve your climbing legs in the off season, cyclist/triathletes build up your endurance and stay fit and those of you health conscience exercise buffs, come out and try a new concept. Hockey players, increase foot speed and increase endurance.

Spinning classes are led by a certified instructor; the only prerequisite is that you like to sweat and have fun!
